JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan asked all mosques in Jakarta to perform magical prayers for Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz (Eril) son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil who went missing in Sunga Aare, Switzerland.

Anies instructed the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Educational Bureau Gunas Mahdianto to make an appeal for the implementation of the occult prayer to all mosques.

"To Karo Dikmental, please immediately make an invitation and appeal to all mosques in Jakarta to establish a supernatural prayer after Friday prayers for Emmiril Khan Mumtaz's son, the son of Mrs. Atalia and Mr. Ridwan Kamil who disappeared in the Aare river, Bern, last week. This invitation must be accepted by all mosques before 11 am this morning," Anies wrote in his statement, Friday, June 3.

Then, Anies instructed all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to hold Friday prayers as well as occult prayers, and pray for Eril.

"To all OPD heads to ensure that all offices within the DKI Provincial Government that hold Friday prayers also establish supernatural prayers. Please invite all DKI Provincial Government employees who perform Friday prayers to participate in establishing the occult prayer and pray for Eril's son," he said.

In a press conference at Gedung Sate, Erwin said that Kang Emil and Atalia believed that Eril had died from drowning in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland.

"Kang Emil and Teh Lia convey that they are sincere and believe that Emeril Kahn Mumtadz, whom we know as Eril, has died, returned to Rahmatullah because he drowned," Erwin said in a West Java Provincial Government YouTube show.

Erwin said the family had coordinated with the West Java Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and decided to pray for Eril in occult prayers according to Islamic law.

"In this case, giving, fulfilling the rights of the late Eril as a Muslim from other Muslims, namely hastening the prayer when he dies," he said.
