Overtake Failed, Sonic Motorcyclist Killed By Truck Run Over In Pademangan, Jakut

JAKARTA - One person is reported to have died in a two-wheeled motor vehicle accident with a trailer truck numbered B-9415-ZM on Jalan London Raya, Pademangan, North Jakarta (Jakut).

Head of North Jakarta Traffic and Traffic Unit AKP Edy Wibowo said the incident occurred on Friday, June 3, 00.30 WIB. He added that there was one more victim, the driver of the Mio B-3211-UAG motorcycle with the initials RD, who suffered injuries from hands to head.

"The rider of the Honda Sonic B-3969-UML motorcycle driven by RA suffered head injuries and died at the scene," said Edy when confirmed, Friday, June 3.

Edy explained that the incident started from RA, which was traveling from west to east. However, when they arrived at the scene, they tried to overtake the vehicle in front of them and collided with RD.

"RA was thrown to the right when he was run over by the tail wheel of a trailer driven by T, which was traveling west," he explained.

As a result of this incident, RA died on the spot and RD was injured. He has now been rushed to Koja Hospital, North Jakarta, for further action.

"Now he is being taken to Koja Hospital," concluded Edy.
