Check Circuit At Ancol With Formula E Co-founder, Anies: They Are Amazed
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan shared his moment of reviewing the almost completed Jakarta Formula E circuit with Formula E Operation (FEO).
Anies claimed that the Formula E Co-Founder and FEO Championship Chief, Alberto Longo admired the results of the construction of the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) in the Ancol area.
"Together with Alberto Longo, Co Founder of Formula-E, we checked the track at Ancol. Alhamdulillah, they were all amazed and amazed by the extraordinary work of the construction team," said Anies on the aniesbaswedan Instagram account, Thursday, June 2.
While reviewing the location of the circuit yesterday, Anies also ensured that the Capital City was ready to hold a Formula E event, which had three days left. Because, the overall preparation is only a few percent.
"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful, the preparations went smoothly and now on June 1, three days from the implementation, it can be said that the entire preparation phase has been completed," said Anies.
Currently, preparations are in the final stages. The committee team just needs to finish painting and installing stickers. "It is only cosmetic, such as painting, installing stickers. But if everything is of a substance nature, the Jakarta E-Prix is ready," he continued.
The former Minister of Education and Culture also showed off photos with several Formula E drivers. Anies admitted that he talked a lot about Jakarta at the meeting.
