Inaugurated 33 Magelang City Government Officials, Mayor: Must Work Wholeheartedly, Example For Employees

Central Java - Mayor of Magelang Muchamad Nur Aziz asked officials in the local municipal government to be role models for employees by prioritizing discipline and always obeying regulations.

"Officials must work sincerely and wholeheartedly wherever they are and be able to be role models for employees," he said in Magelang, Central Java, Monday, May 30.

He conveyed this at the inauguration of 33 high-ranking officials of primary, administrative, and functional positions within the Magelang City Government which took place at the Service Hall of the Magelang Mayor's Home Office complex.

He said the momentum for the inauguration and taking the oath/pledge of office was an important development agenda, especially for high-ranking pratama officials, and was the handover of the leadership relay.

"Today there are four high-ranking pratama officials who have received recommendations from the KASN (State Civil Apparatus Commission) to carry out new tasks and mandates. The inauguration is also interpreted as a tour of duty and tour of the area, especially for high-ranking pratama officials," he said.

Aziz conveyed that the inauguration of functional officials through the equalization mechanism was the implementation of the provisions mandated in the regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 17 of 2021 concerning Equalization in Administrative Positions into Functional Positions through the Equalization Mechanism.

According to him, the mandate given to officials is not just a trust, but a responsibility to implement and create a better government. Therefore, officials must carry out these duties and responsibilities as well as possible.

He advised the newly inaugurated officials to immediately conduct good coordination and consolidation at the internal and external levels to ensure the implementation of the vision and mission of the City of Magelang to be advanced, healthy, and happy.

"Immediately learn and understand your main duties and functions and carry out the best with full responsibility," he said.

Head of the Magelang City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Isa Ashari, said that 33 officials were sworn in and sworn in by the Mayor of Magelang, consisting of four high-ranking pratama officials, six supervisory officers, and 23 functional officials. .
