Business Development Towards Sharing Economy Adi Sarana Owned By Conglomerate TP Rachmat After Its Net Profit Soared 123 Percent

JAKARTA - The transportation and logistics company belonging to conglomerate TP Rachmat, PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) has prepared a business plan that focuses on technology and digitalization. Especially after recording a significant performance growth in the first quarter of 2022.

In ASSA's consolidated financial statements (continued) as of the first quarter of 2022, the company managed to reap a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity by 123.48 percent to Rp72.99 billion from Rp32.66 billion in the same period the previous year.

The increase in ASSA's profit was in line with the increase in revenue by 59.50 percent to Rp. 1.54 trillion in the first quarter of this year when compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp. 963.17 billion.

President Director of Adi Sarana Prodjo Sunarjanto said this year the company will still focus on business development towards a sharing economy by utilizing technology and digitalization.

"For example, ASSA has run online and offline (hybrid) auctions, car rental using the application (ShareCar), express courier applications through Anteraja, and the use of robotic systems in the package sorting process by Anteraja," said Prodjo in his statement, Monday, May 30. .

Not only that, through its subsidiary, PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC), the Company is also developing a business for buying and selling used vehicles digitally through Caroline.id. In the future, Caroline will become an online-to-offline (O2O) used car dealer that provides a wide selection of the best used cars that have passed inspections and are guaranteed.
