Sony Claims Technical Error When PlayStation Plus Subscribers Charged Extra
JAKARTA - The revamped PlayStation Plus service has started rolling out in Asia this week with some unwanted surprises for many customers.
Apparently, there have been complaints from players in Asia who have purchased service packs at discounted prices.
The main complaint hangs mentioned at Sony saying that users who previously purchased a discounted PlayStation Plus subscription were charged an additional fee for upgrading to a different level of service.
Sony is also erasing the savings they originally made by purchasing lower-cost memberships.
Due to a technical error, players in Asia who have previously purchased a PlayStation Plus membership at a discount have been incorrectly charged for their upgrade pricing. This error has been fixed and impacted players will receive a credit. We thank you for your patience.
