MAKASSAR - A delegation from the House of Representatives Commission IX conducted a review of the Sudiang Hajj Dormitory in Makassar, South Sulawesi to check the readiness of the Makassar Embarkation in dispatching prospective pilgrims.
The chairman of the House Commission IX team, Charles Honoris, in Makassar, Wednesday, expressed his appreciation for the Makassar Embarkation Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH), which he considered to be well prepared for the departure of the 2022 hajj pilgrims.
"We appreciate PPIH because of the readiness of the Makassar Embarkation, especially regarding the certainty of health services for God's guests, because our concentration this time is related to hajj health issues," he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 25.
He hopes that all health agencies and the Makassar Embarkation PPIH routinely provide education to prospective hajj pilgrims, especially regarding discipline and compliance with health protocols because this year's hajj season is still in the pandemic era.
The Commission IX team of the DPR has high hopes for all parties involved so that the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage in 2022 can be better even though it is still in the pandemic era.
"Because if the implementation of the pilgrimage this year is successful, we all hope that the implementation of the pilgrimage next year can return to normal and our task is to ensure that all related matters run successfully and smoothly. The point is that coordination and synergy between all parties is very important for the smooth implementation of the pilgrimage. this year," he said.
