Army Chief Of Staff Dudung Requests Legal Process For Soldiers Involved In Human Cage Case
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman does not tolerate five individual TNI AD soldiers involved in the human cage case, in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.
"Kasad will not tolerate any violation of the law involving its members. If a member is involved in a violation of the law, it will still be processed according to the applicable law," said Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Tatang Subarna in a written statement, at Jakarta, Wednesday 25 May.
Five members of the Indonesian Army who are suspected of being involved in the human cage case belonging to the Regent of Langkat, North Sumatra, have been named as suspects in the confinement plan and have been detained at the Military Police Detention Center (Pomdam) I/Bukit Barisan. "The detention of five unscrupulous members of the TNI AD who have been designated by investigators as suspects for the transfer of the investigation files to the Medan Military Oditurat," said Tatang.
This one-star general explained that currently investigators from Pomdam I/Bukit Barisan are still working to process the law for the five members of the TNI.
"Anyone who is later proven to be involved in the human cage issue will definitely be processed according to the applicable law," said Tatang.
The five people who have been delegated to the Medan Military Oditurat have the initials SG, AF, LS, S, and MP respectively.
