Reminding The Importance Of Sense Of Crisis, Jokowi: The Current Situation Is Not Easy!

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) once again reminded all parties to have a sense of crisis. Moreover, right now, the world situation is not easy.

This was conveyed when he gave a briefing and evaluation of the Proud Affirmation Action Made in Indonesia which was broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube.

"I want to convey how the current situation is not an easy situation. It is a very difficult situation and it is experienced by all countries," Jokowi said in his briefing today, Tuesday, May 24.

"Therefore, all of us must have sensitivity, a sense of crisis regarding our current situation and all countries," he added.

Jokowi said this sensitivity is also necessary, especially since the global situation changes every day. Not only because of COVID-19, this change occurred because of unresolved global problems including the war in Ukraine-Russia.

So, all stake holders in the country should have the same feeling. "However today is indeed a situation that is not easy, a situation that is not easy," he said.

"I will give an example, there are currently two serious problems, energy issues. What does it mean, fuel, gasoline, gas, electricity and the second is food. In all countries, these two problems are big problems," explained Jokowi.

Not only that, Jokowi said, all parties must work together to solve existing problems. So, situations that are not easy like today can be resolved properly.

"Once again we must have the same feelings, the same sensitivity to this very difficult situation. And it will be easy if we work together, together, we lift it together," he concluded.
