Meeting Again With The Philippines, The Indonesian Crossfire National Team Is Ready To Seize The Grand Finalist Position At The SEA Games Hanoi 2021
JAKARTA - The Crossfire Esports event at the 2021 SEA Games which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam will be held for two days, from 21-22 May 2022.
There are four countries competing in this number, namely Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, and the host Vietnam.
On the first day, there was a Group Stage round where the match used the Best of Three (BO3) format. This means that teams only need two points to win.
In the first match, Vietnam won the match against Laos. Meanwhile, in the second match, the Philippines won against Indonesia.
The winning team then competed again in the third match to determine who would advance to the Grand Final. In the third match, Vietnam won with a score of 2-0 from the Philippines.
Then, the teams that lost in matches one and two were entered into the Lower Bracket and were re-matched in the fourth match.
In the fourth match, Indonesia finally defeated Laos with a score of 2-0. In the first game, Indonesia managed to get 10-3 points from Laos. And in the second game, Indonesia won 10-0.
The winner in the fourth match will compete with the losing team in the third match. This means that Indonesia will compete again with the Philippines in the fifth match on Sunday, May 22.
The winner of the fifth match will go to the Grand Final and meet Vietnam for gold. The loser will immediately get bronze.
