JAKARTA - Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin encourages the creation of a global partnership in realizing access to safe drinking water and sanitation, which is currently only accessible to a portion of the world's population. As for access to sanitation, in Indonesia currently around 80 percent of the population has access to proper sanitation, while safe sanitation is new enjoyed by about 7 percent of the population. The Vice President conveyed that on the basis of the spirit of encouraging a global partner to realize sanitation and safe drinking water, then Indonesia will host the World Water Forum in 2024.
Through the Sector Ministers Meeting Sanitation and Water For All 2022 Forum, the Vice President conveyed three things.
