Investigating Robbery Cases, Police Will Check All Employees At Alfamart Bungur, Central Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Senen Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still hunting for the robbers who managed to steal Rp17 million from an Alfamart on Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

"The identity of (the perpetrator) is unknown, but there is an image. (the perpetrator) is still being pursued," said Senen Police Chief Commissioner Ari Susanto when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, May 17.

The investigative team is also still examining a number of confiscated evidence and witnesses.

Meanwhile, regarding whether the perpetrator has ever worked in the minimarket or not, the Police will conduct an investigation.

"It can't be predicted (the perpetrators work there or not). But later on we will pursue all of the databases (employees) (check), everything," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the robbery took place at an Alfamart on Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

The perpetrator threatened two female servants with a sharp weapon. Not only that, the perpetrators also tied up the two minimarket cashiers with the initials P and NNW. The perpetrators took away Rp17 million in cash.
