KPK Will Summon Employee Alfamidi Amri, Bribery Ambon Mayor Richard Louhenapessy
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that it will immediately summon the alleged briber of the inactive Ambon Mayor Richard Louhenapessy, an Alfamidi employee named Amri.
In this case, Amri was named a suspect for allegedly bribing Richard to issue a permit for the construction of the Alfamidi branch in Ambon City.
"We will make sure that we will call the person concerned later," said Acting Spokesperson for the KPK for Enforcement, Ali Fikri in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday, May 17.
However, Ali could not specify when the summons would be made. "Regarding the time we will inform you more," he said.
Regarding the investigation into the alleged bribery, Ali ensured that investigators would continue to work. Proof of the case that ensnared Richard will continue to be carried out.
"So far, the investigative team is still focused on completing the proof of the case for suspect RL et al. Erin Hehanusa.
This bribe was given in connection with the approval for the 2020 Alfamidi minimarket retail branch construction permit in Ambon City. As for the giver, Alfamidi's employee, Amri.
In this case, the anti-corruption commission suspected that Richard had asked for an allotment of Rp. 25 million for each permit he issued. Meanwhile, regarding the construction permit for 20 Alfamidi retail outlets, Richard is suspected of receiving Rp500 million from Amri.
In addition, he is suspected of receiving a flow of funds from several parties as a gratuity. However, the KPK has not stated the number because investigators are still investigating further.
