Police Hunt For Murderer Of Former Wife Of Padang Restaurant Waiter Jam Gadang Sentani Papua

JAYAPURA - Jayapura Police are still chasing N (38) the suspect who killed his ex-wife SY (37), an employee of RM Padang Jam Gadang, Sentani, Papua.

"It is true that the perpetrators have not been arrested so far," said Jayapura Police Chief AKBP Fredrickus WA Maclarimboen, in Sentani, Jayapura Regency, Papua, as reported by Antara, Monday, May 16.

The motive for the murder that occurred on Sunday (15/5) is not yet known because investigators are still investigating.

The perpetrator after stabbing the victim in the restaurant's employee shelter room, immediately fled.

The perpetrator, who was the victim's ex-husband before killing his ex-wife, had asked his colleague who was working at RM Jam Gadang, Sentani.

After knowing the victim was in his room, the perpetrator immediately stabbed him with a kitchen knife.

The witness who heard the victim's screams then went to the room and saw the victim covered in blood, so they reported it to the police.

The victim was immediately taken to Youwari Hospital, but could not be helped.

"Evidence in the form of a knife allegedly used to kill the victim has been secured," said AKBP Maclarimboen.
