Health Office: 97,624 Children In Batam Have Been Injected With The Complete COVID-19 Vaccine

KEPRI - A total of 97,624 children aged 6-11 years in Batam City, Riau Islands Province (Kepri) have received the full dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The data was compiled by the Local Health Office (Dinkes) as of May 14, 2022.

"The achievement of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination was 118,831 children, the second dose of 97,624 children," said Head of the Batam City Health Office, Didi Kusmarjadi in a report on the achievement of the COVID-19 vaccine in Batam, Sunday, May 15.

He detailed, a total of 133,051 people aged 6-11 years old in Batam were targeted to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Of this total, he said, as many as 118,831 children, or 89.31 percent had received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination, and as many as 97,624 children, or 73.37 percent had received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

Meanwhile, the Batam City Government has set as many as 907,317 people who are included in the target for COVID-19 vaccination.

Of this total, 946,742 people or 104.35 percent have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination, and as many as 833,813 people or 91.90 percent have received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

The achievement of the COVID-19 vaccination booster dose is targeted at 789,451 people, and as many as 393,516 people, or 49.85 percent have received the booster dose COVID-19 vaccination.
