Five People Examined Regarding The Case Of Selling And Buying Positions At The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government

PALU - Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) examined five witnesses related to the alleged sale and purchase of positions within the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government.

"So far, five people have been questioned regarding this case," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Didik Supranoto, in Palu, as reported by Antara, Friday, May 13.

Didik said the five witnesses were the Regional Secretary of Central Sulawesi Province, the Head of the Central Sulawesi Regional Personnel Agency (BKD), the Head of Promotion Development and Performance Assessment of the Central Sulawesi BKD, the Head of the Promotion Development and Performance Assessment Sub Division, and the Operators at the Central Sulawesi BKD.

"No one has reported it, but following up on the widespread news related to the sale and purchase of positions, the Central Sulawesi Police are proactive in conducting investigations," he explained.

Didik said that the investigation was carried out by the Sub-Directorate of Corruption Ditreskrimsus Polda Central Sulawesi, Thursday, May 12.

"Until now, the alleged sale and purchase of positions is still under investigation," he explained. Previously, the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Rusdy Mastura, had formed an investigation team to investigate the alleged sale and purchase of echelon three and four positions at the inauguration on April 28, 2022.

The Investigation Team involved the Provincial Inspectorate and Regional Secretary who were authorized to investigate the case.

"Anyone who is proven to be involved will be given strict action in accordance with the laws and regulations for the state civil apparatus (ASN) with other provisions," said Rusdy.
