Motorbike Collision In Bali, Ambulance Driver Who Ran Through A Red Light Became A Suspect
DENPASAR - The driver of the ambulance, Wiwin Samsul Anwar (25) who hit a motorbike named Pandhu Wahyu Prayogi (28) to death on Jalan Sunset Road, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, has been named a suspect.
"Yes (determined as a suspect) and detained starting today," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu Ketut Sukadi, Friday, May 13.
Wiwin Samsul Anwar was charged with Article 310 paragraph (1) of Law (UU) No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ).
"Article 310 paragraph 4 is imposed which causes people to die," said Sukadi.
As previously reported, the accident occurred when the ambulance driven by Wiwin Samsul Anwar was carrying the body.
The ambulance driver ran a red light. Meanwhile, the oncoming motorcyclist hit him. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
