In a circular issued in Kuala Lumpur, Thursday, May 12, the Indonesian Embassy said there was a policy of the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) which could refuse travelers to enter Malaysia.
Those who are rejected are travelers who do not have sufficient provisions, do not have valid proof of accommodation or residence while in Malaysia, do not have a return ticket to their country for tourists, are on the JIM black list, do not have health insurance and are not entered through the JIM channel. official transportation.
Reported by Antara, the Indonesian Embassy stated that Indonesian citizens who arrived through the official entrance to the airport or port and did not meet the requirements would be refused entry to Malaysia. They will soon be repatriated back to Indonesia.
As for Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) who are on leave to Indonesia, they can return to Malaysia as long as they have a valid permit.
Every Indonesian citizen who enters Malaysia is required to install the MySejahtera application on his cellphone and fill out the Digital Pre-Departure Form (pre-departure form) through the application before arriving in Malaysia.
The Indonesian Embassy appealed to Indonesian citizens who would travel to Malaysia to pay attention to the necessary conditions.
