Fleeing Police, Female Murderer In Padalarang Found Suicide
PADALARANG - A man named Mulyadi, the suspect in the murder of Wiwin Sunengsih (31), was found dead after hanging himself on Thursday, May 12 morning.
West Java Police Head of Humas Kombes Pol. Ibrahim Tompo said the murder of Wiwin took place in Padalarang District, West Bandung Regency (KBB), West Java, Sunday, May 8 morning.
Since then the police have been hunting for Mulyadi, who is currently found dead at his residence.
"A hysterical cry was heard, then members of the Cimahi Police Association checked into the house and received information from the perpetrator's parents that it was known that the perpetrator had hanged himself," said Ibrahim in Bandung, West Java, quoted from Antara, Thursday, May 11.
The perpetrator's body has been evacuated by police officers. Ibrahim said the suspect was wearing a green jacket and brown trousers when he was found dead.
"He was then taken by ambulance from Jayamekar Village to Sartika Asih Hospital for an autopsy," said Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, Cimahi Police Chief AKBP Imron Ermawan said that Wiwin, who was suspected of being killed by Mulyadi, was injured by a sharp object.
"The results of the post-mortem state that there is a wound in the stomach and a wound on the neck in the form of an incision," said Imron.
Mulyadi's heinous act is thought to have a romantic motive. Imron said the police had recovered from the trauma of the community around the scene.
