Hampered In Accountability Reports, 40 Villages In Kapuas Hulu West Kalimantan Have Not Disbursed Village Funds
KAPUAS HULU - Head of the Village and Community Empowerment Service of Kapuas Hulu Regency, Rupinus, stated that 40 of the 278 villages in the area have not disbursed the first phase of the Village Fund for the 2022 fiscal year.
"We have reminded 40 villages that have not yet received Village Funds to immediately disburse, because the deadline for disbursement is next June," he explained when met in Putussibau Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan, Antara, Tuesday, May 10.
Obstacles faced by villages that have not yet obtained Village Funds are that they have not completed the accountability report due to limited human resources and other obstacles.
He said the deadline for disbursing the first phase of the Village Fund was in June 2022. If the villages did not immediately submit their disbursement proposal, the Village Fund was in danger of not being disbursed.
"Don't refuse to submit a disbursement, if there are problems, immediately coordinate it, especially with the sub-district, because the recommendation for disbursement is through the sub-district," he said.
He said the total Village Fund for Kapuas Hulu in the 2022 budget year was approximately Rp. 200 billion.
He reminded village heads to utilize the Village Fund in a targeted manner and according to the rules, including in the distribution of Village Fund Cash Direct Assistance (BLT).
He said the Village Fund BLT amounted to 40 percent of the total Village Fund.
"In the distribution of Village Fund BLT, it must be right on target and must not overlap, do not be forced to spend 40 percent but it is not right on target, all of that has provisions," said Rupinus.
