Partnering With Microsoft Excel, EVE Online Spin-off Will Be Under Development

JAKARTA - cEVE Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in science fiction.

Players can control a plane through a universe with more than 7500 star systems.

CCP Games has not revealed more details about the new game because they want to show firsthand how to develop the concept, rather than just telling.

CCP Games London's first-person shooter game still doesn't have a release date, but the studio has confirmed that the game is currently in pre-production development.

Recently, EVE Online also announced that it is partnering with Microsoft Excel on a project around data democratization in the EVE Online game.

"We'll even be releasing a new extension soon that inserts data from EVE directly into Excel without requiring any technical experience," said the developer.

Although currently only a prototype, the tool allows EVE players to import all kinds of market data and fixture statistics into the program.

The developer also hopes to share a prototype for the project by the end of this year.
