JAKARTA - The news of Erling Haaland's joining from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City increasingly shows clarity. Recently, senior Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano said the striker had carried out a medical examination for the Citizens.

“Erling Haaland to Manchester City, here we go! Haaland passed his medical as a new Man City player today, he's back at Dortmund. Will be official this week," Romano wrote on Twitter.
Still from the same upload, Romano also said that in this transfer effort, Man City would activate the player's release clause in the near future.

The news about Haaland's agreement to join Manchester City was also reported by The Athletic. In the previous meeting, the two parties, both the club and the player, were reported to have reached an agreement.
The Citizens' interest in Haaland is supported by the striker's performance on the field. Although Haaland is only 22 years old, his sharpness when appearing in the Bundesliga competition has been proven.
Since defending Dortmund in 2020, Haaland has played 88 times, in which he scored 85 goals. With that slick record, Haaland's presence at Man City will certainly be a plus and add to the sharpness of the club.
