D+5 Eid 2022, 9,037 Homecomers Arrive At Kampung Rambutan Terminal

JAKARTA - A total of 9,037 passengers were recorded to have arrived at the Kampung Rambutan Jakarta Terminal on H+5 Lebaran 2022 or on Sunday 8 May. The Kampung Rambutan Mulyono Terminal Team in Jakarta, Monday 9 May. The number of passengers on D+5 was recorded higher than the previous day (D+4) of Eid 2022 which reached 8,807 passengers.

Mulyono estimates that there will still be an increase in the number of passengers arriving at the terminal in the coming days, given the policy of working from home (WFH) for ASN and the extension of school holidays to prevent backflow congestion for Eid 2022, allowing homecomers to stay in their villages. "It is possible that some of our relatives are still in the area. We estimate that up to a week or 10 days later there will still be those who return to Jakarta," he said. Mulyono explained that the trend of passengers returning to Jakarta has continued to increase since D+1 Lebaran. 2022 or on Wednesday 4 May, where the number of passengers who arrived at Kampung Rambutan Terminal on that day was 3,862 passengers using 326 buses. Furthermore, on D+2 Lebaran 2022 or Thursday 5 May, there were 5,272 passengers who arrived by 368 buses. On D+3 or Friday 6 May there were 7,619 passengers who came using 419 buses, on Saturday 7 May or D+4 there were 8,807 passengers with 473 buses until Sunday 8 May or D+5 as many as 9,037 passengers with 487 buses. at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, most of them came from a number of cities in West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Sumatra. Meanwhile, the number of passengers returning to their hometowns from the terminal continued to decline. "The flow of going home shows a downward trend compared to a few days before Lebaran. This is already H plus. But there are still our relatives who are going home," said Mulyono.
