After Friday Prayers, Man In Tangerang Dies In The Courtyard Of The Mosque, Suspected Of Heart Disease

TANGERANG - Jamludin (56) died after performing Friday prayers at the Al-Ikhlas Grand Mosque, Jalan Raden Saleh, Karang Tengah, Tangerang City. It is suspected that the man died of a heart attack.

The Head of the Ciledug Police, Kompol Poltar L Gaol said the incident occurred on Friday, May 6, at 13.50 WIB.

"Yes, that's right, there was this afternoon after Friday prayers. (The cause) was sick, if his wife's statement was that there was a history of heart disease. During the fasting month he was hospitalized," said Poltar confirmed by VOI, Friday, May 6.

Poltar said that witness Jafar Hidayat saw the victim leaving the mosque after performing Friday prayers. Not long after leaving the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, the victim suddenly fell and eventually died.

"The victim from Pondok Aren (Tangerang Selatab) then went to the mosque for Friday prayers. Then after he finished he left the mosque. Suddenly he fell and died," he said.

"Now the victim has been buried by his family," he said.
