Held Isbat Session This Afternoon, Ministry Of Religion Invites All Islamic Organizations
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) will hold a 2022 Isbat Eid session today, Sunday 1 May 2022, at the HM Rasyidi Auditorium Building, Central Jakarta.
For this reason, the Ministry of Religion has also invited Islamic social organizations (ormas) and ambassadors from friendly countries to the isbat session later.

"We invite Islamic organizations to attend the early isbat session of Syawal 1443 H which will be held on May 1, 2022," said the Director of Islamic Religious Affairs and Sharia Development (Urais and Binsyar) of the Ministry of Religion, Adib, in a statement to the media quoted on Sunday, May 1.
In addition, his party also invited Commission VIII of the DPR RI, academics from a number of universities, leaders of Islamic boarding schools, as well as astronomers and astronomers.
Because it is still a pandemic, continued Adib, the initial isbat session of Syawal 1443 H was held in a hybrid manner, via online and offline. Offline, the ISBAT session was held at the HM Rasjidi Auditorium, the RI Ministry of Religion Office, Jalan MH Thamrin, Jakarta. Participants who follow online will be facilitated through the Zoom application.
The implementation of the isbat session began with an explanation of the position of the new moon by the Ministry of Religion's Hijri Calendar Unification Team, followed by information on the results of the rukyatul hilal which was held at 99 points throughout Indonesia.
"Furthermore, the beginning of Shawwal 1443 H will be determined by considering the results of reckoning and rukyat results, as well as input from trial participants," concluded Adib.
