"(Second) is a good position to start. Bagnaia was amazing, he had a very good lap. But we can still have a great race. I feel confident," said Quartararo.
Currently, Quartararo is still at the top of the MotoGP 2022 rider standings with 69 points. Alex Rins (Suzuki Ecstar) in second place equals Quartararo points, followed by Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) with a distance of three points and Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing) in fourth.
