The Peak Of The 2022 Eid Homecoming Flow Has Passed, The Security At Tanjung Priok Port Is Conducive
JAKARTA - The condition of the 2022 Eid homecoming flow at the Tanjung Priok Terminal until Saturday, April 30, is monitored to be safe. No disturbance of security and public order (kamtibmas) has been found during the homecoming flow.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Idul Fitri Sea Transportation Coordination Post at Tanjung Priok Port, Adjunct Commissioner of Police (AKP), Weni Sianipar.
"Starting two weeks ago, since the Eid security post at Tanjung Priok Port was established, until now there have been no prominent incidents," Weni said as quoted by Antara.
He said that there was no crime at the Tanjung Priok Port passenger terminal because the Police had alerted a number of personnel.
In addition, according to him, the police are also assisted by various parties including elements of the community to maintain conducive security conditions.
"We are working with various parties to carry out security at Tanjung Priok Port," he said.
Weni gave an example that the post for Eid at the Port of Tanjung Priok received an increase in the number of security personnel. The additions included a platoon of Brimob personnel, 16 personnel from the Samapta Polda Metro Jaya, and 6 Polair personnel, and other elements were added.
He said that although Tanjung Priok Port had passed the peak of the homecoming flow, security personnel remained on standby until the return flow.
"Security preparations have been carried out for a long time because Eid security is carried out until May 9. We are also ready to carry out security in the reverse flow," he said.
