Malindo Air, Owned By Conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, Changes Its Name To Batik Air Malaysia
JAKARTA - The airline based in Malaysia and under the auspices of the Lion Air Group owned by conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, namely Malindo Air, changed its name to Batik Air Malaysia.
The name Batik Air itself has actually become one of the premium airline brands from the Lion Air Group based in Indonesia. The announcement of the name change was written on the official Twitter account of Malindo Air, namely @malindoair.
In one of its tweets, as quoted by VOI, Saturday 30 April, the Malindo Air account explained that the implementation of this name change will be carried out in stages and will be communicated to passengers and partners progressively.
As is known Lion Air Group was founded by Rusdi Kirana. In addition to having airlines in Indonesia, namely Lion Air, Batik Air, and Wings Air, the Lion Air Group also has airlines in Thailand, namely Thai Lion Air and in Malaysia, namely Malindo Air, which changed its name to Batik Air Malaysia.
