Pertamina Guarantees Distribution Of Fuel And LPG Through Safe Sea Routes During Eid 2022
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) has expressed readiness to secure the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG gas supplies by sea during this year's Eid momentum.
President Director of PTK Nepos Pakpahan said that his party continues to strengthen monitoring, supervision, and the provision of infrastructure to support reliable marine transportation operations.
"Our preparedness is also shown by ensuring the availability of Harbor Tug and Small Craft vessels in achieving the distribution target of BBM and LPG," he said in a press statement quoted on Saturday, April 30.
According to Nepos, his party has prepared a fleet to support 282 transport ships with 96 Harbor Tugs that are ready to operate, 100 percent allocated according to their individual needs. Not only that, as many as 307 small craft were deployed for activities in all ports.
"With this target, we are ready to be ready to be responsible and have duties in port operation activities at 101 Pertamina ports in order to maintain the security of energy supply in Indonesia," he said.
Based on the government's prediction, there are around 85.5 million homecomers and 33 million cars that will move throughout Indonesia during the 2022 Lebaran homecoming flow. This makes Pertamina increase its stock according to the calculation of the projected average consumption.
The Pertamina 2022 Task Force provides 100,000 kiloliters of gasoline per day from the previous 90,000 kiloliters last year.
Meanwhile, for Solar supplied 1.8 million kiloliters, Pertalite 1.3 million kiloliters, Pertamax 720,000 kiloliters, and Dexlite around 4,600 kiloliters.
Meanwhile, for LPG products, both PSO and Non-PSO, it is estimated that there will be an increase from 25,000 metric tons per day in 2021 to 27,000 metric tons per day in 2022.
"The increase in the stock of fuel and LPG is quite significant because this year compared to last year, the government has allowed going home and there is a relaxation of travel rules, thus encouraging community mobilization," concluded Nepos.
