KM Cermai Ship Transports Free Motorcycle Travelers Semarang-Surabaya Route Tonight

JAKARTA - The KM Cermai ship will carry hundreds of free motorbike travelers departing from Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. Previously, the KM Dobonsolo ship had already transported hundreds of motorbike travelers to Semarang-Surabaya.

Acting Director General of Sea Transportation Capt Mugen S Sartoto said that the main purpose of this free homecoming was to reduce road congestion and reduce the number of two-wheeled travelers. So that it can minimize the number of accidents during Lebaran homecoming or backflow.

On the departure of April 26, Mugen said, the KM Dobonsolo ship had succeeded in delivering motorbike travelers to Semarang and Surabaya by bringing 470 free homecoming participants, 416 ordinary people and 216 motorbikes.

"Tonight (Friday, April 29) we will also dispatch a ship, namely KM Ciremai which will depart at 22.00 WIB from Tanjung Priok Port with the same destination, namely Tanjung Emas in Semarang and Tanjung Perak in Surabaya," he said in a virtual press conference, Friday, April 29.

Mugen said the KM Ciremai ship can carry 1,250 motorcycles and 2,500 passengers. The news is based on data from today's free homecoming post as of 13.00 WIB, the number of homecomers who registered was recorded as 907 motorbikes and 1 985 people and 825 motorbikes and 1,877 people who have verified.

"Hopefully there is still time left, people can take advantage of this facility," he said.

It may reveal that the enthusiasm of the community in participating in this free homecoming program is quite high. This is reflected in the current homecoming quota, which is almost fully filled.

For your information, the routes taken for the 2022 motorbike free homecoming are Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya (homecoming) and Surabaya-Semarang-Jakarta (backflow).

The Jakarta Semarang Surabaya train homecoming schedule with KM Ciremai on 29 April 2022 will depart from Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta at 22.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the Bali schedule for the Surabaya Semarang Jakarta train with KM Ciremai on May 9, 2022 will depart at 17.00 WIB and KM Dobonsolo will depart on May 11, 2022 at 17.00 WIB.
