The PPSU Officer Who Made The THR Hoax Was Robbed Has Not Become A Suspect, The Perpetrator Is Still Being Investigated
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Sector Police is still conducting an investigation regarding the report of a fraudulent robbery incident which was said by the Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling (PPSU) officer of Mangga Dua Selatan Village named Ray Prama Abdullah (28). Even so, the investigative team has not been able to determine the suspect against the PPSU officer who had created a scene on social media. "The suspect or not later, we are still investigating first," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Sawah Besar Police AKP Wildan to VOI, Thursday, April 28, evening. AKP Wildan emphasized that there were no incidents of burglary against PPSU in front of Husada Hospital, Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta or false reports. "Nothing (incident), we've been looking for two days and no clues at all," he explained.
According to Kanit, police suspicions began to emerge when the PPSU officer was invited to conduct a crime scene investigation (TKP). "We have asked the person concerned (PPSU) to trace the incident, nothing happened," he said. In fact, PPSU officers withdrew money at the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) not as much as Rp. 4.4 million as circulated on social media. "What is clear is that he withdraws money from an ATM, not Rp. 4.4 million as he said. But only 200 thousand, there is evidence that he has been transferred," he explained. Then the PPSU officer admitted that he had lost THR worth Rp. 4.4 million due to being robbed. "The money is for gambling. If the report is that much (Rp 4.4 million) it means that it has collapsed (lost) that much," he said. Previously reported, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police confirmed that an officer for handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) of Mangga Dua Selatan sub-district named Ray Prama Abdullah (28) made a false statement regarding the case of theft of holiday allowances (THR) worth Rp. 4.4 million. The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Sawah Besar Police, AKP Wildan, said that from the results of the police investigation there were no signs of an incident at the crime scene (TKP). "We are processing the crime scene, looking for witnesses, checking CCTV, there is no such incident," said AKP Wildan to VOI, Thursday, April 28. According to AKP Wildan, the PPSU also admitted that he made the (false) report because he was forced to cover up his fears.
