One Way Implemented From Cikampek Toll Road, Vehicle Flow At Kalikangkung Semarang Toll Gate Is Still Sloping

SEMARANG - The flow of vehicles at the Kalikangkung toll gate, Semarang, Central Java, was smooth when the one-way travel rule was enforced from the Cikampek Toll Road.

"Since the one-way operation in Kalikangkung starting at 17.00 WIB, the queue of vehicles is still relatively sloping," said Head of Traffic Unit of Semarang Polrestabes, AKBP Sigit at the Kalikangkung toll gate, Semarang, as reported by Antara, Thursday, April 28.

According to him, from about three hours since the one-way implementation, about 5,000 vehicles have left Kalikangkung to enter Semarang. The density of traffic from the west is expected to peak a few hours after the implementation of one-way traffic.

"It is estimated that the density from the west will only enter a few hours," he said.

The one-way implementation on the toll road from the west to the Kalikangkung Semarang toll gate has been set since 17.00 WIB. Preparations for the implementation of one-way have been done some time before. All toll booths at the Kalikangkung toll gate are opened to serve toll road users who will pass.

The total number of vehicles crossing the Kalikangkung toll gate from the west from morning to evening was recorded at 21,591 vehicles.
