Cirebon Health Office: Health Centers Still Serve Patients During Lebaran Homecoming
CIREBON - The Cirebon District Health Office, West Java, ensured that all puskesmas in the area during the 2022 Lebaran homecoming period, especially those with PONED status (Basic Emergency Obstetrics and Neonatal Services) remained open to serve patients.
"We make sure that the puskesmas will continue to serve patients during the 2022 Lebaran homecoming period," said Head of the Cirebon District Health Office Neneng Hasanah in Cirebon, Antara, Wednesday, April 27.
Neneng said that of the 60 health centers in Cirebon Regency, 35 of them have the status of PONED, so it is certain that they will continue to operate for 24 hours.
In fact, of the 35 PONED, there are 11 health centers included in the category with treatment rooms (DTP) that are ready to serve patients. "Every puskesmas has health workers (nakes) who stand by to treat patients," he said.
Neneng added that the other 25 health centers were confirmed to continue to operate and open health services during the 2022 Eid al-Fitr joint leave. However, on the 25th anniversary, they were closed, so that on Lebaran day only PONED and DTP health centers were operating.
In addition, hundreds of health workers in Cirebon Regency ranging from doctors, medics, to drivers were also alerted during the 2022 homecoming period. "The number of people who were alerted reached 882 people, consisting of 43 doctors, 645 paramedics, 86 other health workers, and 48 drivers, " he said.
