Charta Politica Survey: The Majority Of PDIP And PKB Voters Vote For Ganjar Pranowo
JAKARTA - Chartapolitika released the results of a national survey related to the figures chosen by political party voters in the 2024 presidential election. As a result, PDIP and PKB voters unanimously chose the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo.
The Executive Director of Chartapolitika, Yunarto Wijaya, said that 66.8 percent of PDIP voters chose Ganjar in a simulation of 10 names.
Then, as many as 25.8 percent of PKB voters also chose Ganjar.
The dominant Golkar voters chose Prabowo Subianto as their ideal candidate. However, the difference with the voters of Ganjar Pranowo is very thin, around 0.9 percent.
"Here we can see where the preferences of PKB and PDIP voters are to Ganjar Pranowo," Yunarto said in his statement.
The sample in the Charta Politica survey was chosen completely at random (probability sampling) using the multistage random sampling method, taking into account urban/rural and the proportion between the number of samples and the number of voters in each province.
With a sample size of 1220 respondents, the margin of error is 2.83% at the 95 percent confidence level.
The primary sampling unit for this survey (PSU) is a sub-district with a total sample of 10 people each in 122 sub-districts spread across Indonesia.
Anies Baswedan, according to Charta Politika mapping, received votes from supporters of Golkar (24.1 percent), NasDem (33.9 percent), PKS (63.8 percent), PPP (24 percent), PAN (38.9 percent), and Democrats (30.6 percent).
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo received a majority of votes from supporters of PKB (25.8 percent), PDI-P (66.8 percent), Golkar (26.8 percent), and NasDem (32.3 percent).
Prabowo Subianto, according to the same report, received the majority support from supporters of Gerindra (72.4 percent), Golkar (27.7 percent), and PPP (24 percent).
Meanwhile, AHY got a majority of votes only from Democrat supporters as much as 30.6 percent.
