Blue Bird, Taxi Company Owned By Purnomo Prawiro Conglomerate Earns Revenue Of IDR 673.98 Billion And Profit Of IDR 47.14 Billion In The First Quarter Of 2022

JAKARTA - The taxi company owned by Purnomo Prawiro conglomerate, PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) posted a good performance in the first quarter of 2022. The company's revenue and profit were able to grow significantly in the first three months of this year.

In Blue Bird's unaudited interim financial report, quoted on Tuesday, April 26, the company's revenue was recorded at IDR 673.98 billion in the first quarter of 2022. That number increased 40.41 percent compared to the realization in the same period last year of Rp.480 billion.

Blue Bird recorded direct expenses of IDR 500.75 billion in the first three months of this year, higher than last year's IDR 396.76 billion. As a result, BIRD's gross profit in the first quarter of 2022 was IDR 173.22 billion, an increase of 107.9 percent compared to the same period in 2021 of IDR 83.29 billion.

It was recorded that the profit for the current period attributable to owners of the parent entity reached Rp47.14 billion. This achievement is inversely proportional to the same period last year which still posted a loss of IDR 28.25 billion.

As is known, BIRD has also managed to record a net profit of Rp. 8.7 billion in the full year of 2021. This figure has increased significantly by 105.3 percent when compared to the same period in the previous year.

Previously, the President Director of PT Blue Bird Tbk, Sigit Djokosoetono said that his party was always trying to adapt to new ways in the transportation business.
