Homecomers If You Want To Pass Through Cianjur, Don't Do It At Night, The Police: There Is Still Not Enough Light
JAKARTA - Cianjur Police advise travelers who want to cross the main route of Cianjur Regency, West Java, to avoid night trips. Because in this area, there are minimal street lighting.
Cianjur Police Chief, AKBP Doni Hermawan, said it was recommended that travelers take morning, afternoon and evening trips.
"For the road runway on the homecoming route of Cianjur Regency, almost 90 percent are in good condition, but the road lighting is still minimal, even at some points it is still lacking, making it prone to accidents and criminal acts," said AKBP Doni, Monday, April 25, quoted from Antara.
Starting from the Puncak route to the Cianjur-West Bandung border, it is very well supported by good road foundations and adequate lighting. But at some points, it needs to be added and it has been coordinated with the relevant agencies.
However, for a number of main roads from Cianjur to the former Citarum toll road or the border with West Bandung, street lighting still needs to be added, so that it can disrupt the concentration of travelers passing through.
"We recommend that travelers who will pass on the main route of Cianjur Regency, can travel in the morning, afternoon and evening, apart from the weather factor, lighting is still lacking, especially on alternative routes such as Hanjawar-Pacet-Sukaresmi through Jonggol," he said.
Not only the lack of street lighting, his party also noted that there is still a lack of road signs, especially at points prone to accidents and special natural disasters in the southern region, so that the coordination of additional signs is also carried out by his party with the relevant agencies.
His party also asked travelers to obey traffic rules, especially for two-wheeled travelers, not to carry excess loads and not to ride more than one person and pickup trucks not carrying passengers.
"Make sure the vehicle is fit before traveling back and forth, stop if you are tired and don't push yourself when it rains heavily, prioritize safety because the family is waiting at home," he said.
