Crowded At Soetta Airport, Passengers Choose To Go Home Early To Avoid Airfare Increases
TANGERANG - D-7 Idul Fitri homecoming, Soekarno Hatta Airport looks crowded. Many passengers choose to go home early, because they avoid an increase in ticket prices before Eid.
Bayu, one of the passengers, admitted that he left today because he saw that the D-3 Eid ticket price reached Rp. 1.5 million.
"I bought Rp. 800 thousand. I was able to check near Eid, the price was Rp. 1.5 million. So it almost doubled," said Bayu when met at Terminal 2 of Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, 25, Monday April.
Bayu saw today, at Soekarno Hatta Airport Terminal, it was very crowded. However, Bayu said, it did not cause crowds or long lines.
"It's pretty crowded, bro. But you don't have to queue like that. So it's still safe," he said.
The same thing was said by Vika, a woman who wanted to go to Bengkulu. Vika said the surge in passengers occurred because of a permit from the government to travel back and forth.
"The government has allowed going home, right, and now it's increasing because there's already a permit. So, this year, it feels more crowded," said Vika.
VOI monitoring at Terminal 2 Soekarno Hatta Airport, Monday, April 25, at 13:57 WIB. There was a queue of passengers in the check-in area of Batik Air and Lion Air airlines. Nevertheless, the queue did not snaking and causing crowds.
The passengers who came, all adhered to health protocols well. Not a single passenger is not wearing a mask.
