Jasa Marga Starts Odd-Even License Plate Regulation Trial On Several Toll Roads, Make A Record Of The List And Schedule!
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is ready to support the trial application of odd-even traffic engineering on toll roads, which is at the discretion of the Police for this year's Eid homecoming.
"Jasa Marga will support the implementation of traffic engineering on toll roads which is at the discretion of the Police, as a form of collaboration with the Korlantas Polri, the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) for the safety and smooth running of the people who will carry out homecoming," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Dwimawan Heru in a written statement quoted by Antara, Sunday, April 24.
Heru explained that the schedule and location for the trial implementation had been determined by the Police, which started at the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road KM 47 (Karawang Barat) with details, namely Monday, April 25, 2022, at 11.00 a.m. - 13.00 p.m., starting from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. KM 47 (Karawang Barat) to GT Cikampek Utama toll road Jakarta-Cikampek KM 70.
Then Tuesday, April 26, 2022, 11.00 a.m. - 13.00 p.m., starting from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road KM 47 (West Karawang) to GT Palimanan Utama Cipali Toll Road KM 188.
Then on Wednesday 27 April 2022 at 10.00 a.m. - 17.00 p.m., starting from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road KM 47 (Karawang Barat) to GT Kalikangkung, Batang-Semarang Toll Road KM 414.

In accordance with what was conveyed by the Police, Heru added, if there was a traffic jam, the Police's discretion would be carried out with contraflow traffic engineering.
"In addition, if the density exceeds the maximum limit, the police will be given discretion by using one-way traffic engineering. Jasa Marga is ready to support the trial of the implementation of this traffic engineering by alerting officers, signs, and conveying information through a Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) to ensure that road users' journeys remain safe," said Heru.
The Head of the Ops for the Korlantas Polri, Kombes Eddy Djunaedi, explained that in implementing this odd-even traffic engineering, Korlantas collaborated with the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of PUPR.
Eddy said that with this rule, it is hoped that it will help smooth the flow of Eid homecoming 2022.
"We will conduct trials from Monday to Wednesday at the Cikampek Toll Road. As an effort to maintain security, safety, smoothness, and comfort for the people who will carry out homecoming," he said.
Eddy also appealed to people who will carry out homecoming activities to continue to obey traffic rules and directives from officers in the field. In addition, the public is also asked to always monitor information regarding the flow of going home.
"To people who want to go home, please really check your physical and vehicle readiness, also update information about going home. We hope that this year's homecoming can run smoothly and optimally," he said.
