Criticism Of April 21st Demo, Ruhut Sitompul Calls Student Orations Like Mouthwashing

JAKARTA - PDIP politician Ruhut Sitompul criticized student demonstrations in Jakarta. According to Ruhut, the students' demonstration oration was unclear as if they were gargling.

Ruhut also commented on the actions of students who are members of the SI BEM which demanded President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to emphasize the rejection of three terms or an extension of the term of office.

Ruhut considered it natural that President Jokowi did not care about the recent student demonstrations. Because according to him, the demands and speeches conveyed were not clear, which Ruhut likened to someone who was gargling.

"How can it not be underestimated, the demo is a demo, but the speech is like someone who is gargling," said Ruhut via his personal Twitter @ruhutsitompul, quoted Friday, April 22.

Ruhut suspected that the student demonstration was due to an order from 'Bohir'. Alias, there is a trigger for students to move to sue Jokowi.

"Demolah is because of moral strength, not because of supernatural powers," said Ruhut.

Ruhut said the demonstrations by students and workers yesterday actually made it difficult for people who wanted to break their fast. Because, the way back home choked due to traffic jams.

"Yes, in the end, this only makes it difficult for Muslim friends who want to break their fast with their families, because the roads are jammed free," he said.
