Earth Day, Netflix Invites Barack Obama To Do Our Great National Parks Documentary

JAKARTA - April 22 is celebrated as Earth Day. Streaming service Netflix presents a documentary series that will be filled with narration from former US president, Barack Obama entitled Our Great National Parks.

Our Great National Parks is a series featuring all national parks around the world from Tsavo National Park in Kenya, Monterey Bay, to Gunung Leuser National Park in Indonesia.

Spectators can also see the national park from the perspective of its inhabitants. Gunung Leuser National Park in Aceh, which is included in this series, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The series is a collaboration between Wild Space and Obama's production house, Higher Ground Productions. Obama is known to be a co-producer with James Honeyborne and Tonia Davis.

In addition, Netflix is also preparing some content related to Earth Day. The film Don't Look Up, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, focuses on environmental issues.

Then there is the documentary The Minimalist: Less is Now which tells the minimalist lifestyle of a skilled practitioner. There is also Okja, a film made by Bong Joong Ho that has environmental conflicts.

Our Great National Parks and dozens of other pieces of content are included in the latest Netflix collection titled One World Infinite Wonder or Earth Stories.

The documentary series Our Great National Parks can be watched exclusively on Netflix starting today, Friday, April 22.
