After Leaking On Korean Leaderboards, Sonic Origins Will Debut On April 23 With Four Game Remasters
JAKARTA - After being recently rated by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of South Korea, Sonic Origins now has a definite release date.
The company has announced that the Sonic Origins collection will debut on June 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Switch. As additional information, this Compilation was originally announced in May 2021 during Sega's Sonic Central Presentation.
The $40 standard version will include remasters of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and the Sonic CD. As for the Digital Deluxe edition worth US$45 (Rp630 thousand) adding difficult missions, exclusive music, and cosmetics.
Each game has remastered graphics and other "improvements" for modern hardware. You can play everything like the original, but you can also experiment with features and modes that were never available before on your Genesis or Mega Drive.

You can play as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles in any of the games, and "Birthday Mode" brings you a widescreen ratio of infinite lives. You can earn medals for unlocking content by completing missions.
