Robbed By Gunmen In England While Crossing The Street, Amir Kahn Raib Luxury Watch

JAKARTA - An unpleasant incident experienced by boxer from England, Amir Kahn. The former light welterweight world champion was robbed by armed criminals in central London, England.

Quoted from Thenationalnews, the incident was experienced by Amir Kahn on Monday, April 18, local time. Because of this incident, a luxury watch worn by the boxer was stripped by the robbers.

Through a tweet on his Twitter account, Amir Kahn said this robbery occurred when he and his wife were crossing the street in Leyton, London, England.

"I just took my watch off at gunpoint in East London, Leyton," he wrote.

"I crossed the road with Faryal (the wife), luckily he was a few steps behind me. 2 men ran towards me, he asked for my watch while putting a gun in my face," he continued.

Even though his luxury watch was missing, Amir Kahn emphasized that the most important thing was that he and his wife were safe and did not suffer any injuries or violence.

This is like a second "blow" for Amir Khan who just lost to Kell Brook when fighting in February in Manchester. Even so, Kahn stated he had no plans to retire.

Last week he was booed by crowds in Manchester after he refused to commit to fighting Conor Benn. Kahn said he just wanted to enjoy the match as a boxing fan.

"I'm just here to enjoy boxing. I'm a fan. I'm here to support him," Khan said at the ringside after Benn's win.

"Right now to spend time with my family but who knows. If I come back then we can see where we go from there. He is a young and hungry lion."
