KPK Traces The Origin Of Langkat Regent's Property And Assets Deactivated Issuing Warring Angin Plan
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) are currently tracing the origin of the property of the inactive Langkat Regent. This search is carried out by examination.
Investigators examined Terbit as a witness for another suspect, namely Iskandar Warin Angin, who is his brother. The inspection was carried out on Monday, April 18th.
"The Investigative Team is still continuing to investigate, among other things, regarding the property and assets of the witness," said Acting Spokesperson for the KPK for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, April 19.
In addition, Ali said, investigators are also exploring several things. One of them is related to the receipt of fees made by Terbit from each project in the Langkat Regency Government.
"(Investigators are looking into, ed) the alleged amount of fee receipts from each project in the Langkat Regency Government and the use of the money from the said fees," he said.
However, Ali did not explain in detail about the results of the examination. This is because the investigation is still ongoing.
It was previously reported that Terbit Plan was named a suspect in the alleged bribery case in the procurement of goods and services in Langkat Regency.
He was named a suspect along with five other people, namely Erbit, Iskandar PA (ISK) as the Village Head of Balai Kasih who is also Terbit's brother, and three private parties/contractors respectively Marcos Surya Abdi (MSA), Shuhanda Citra (SC), and Isfi Syahfitra (IS). Meanwhile, as the giver, namely Muara Warin Angin (MR) from the private sector/contractor.
In the construction of the case, the KPK explained that around 2020 until now, Terbit as the Regent of Langkat for the 2019-2024 period together with Iskandar was suspected of making arrangements in the implementation of the infrastructure work project package in Langkat Regency.
When making arrangements, Terbit ordered Sujarno as Acting Head of PUPR District of Langkat Regency and Suhardi as Head of the Procurement of Goods and Services to actively coordinate with Iskandar as Terbit's representative regarding the selection of which partners will be appointed as winners of the project work package at the PUPR Service and the Public Works Service. Education.
In order to become the winner of the work project package, the KPK suspects that there is a request for a percentage fee by Terbit through Iskandar with a percentage value of 15 percent of the project value for the work package through the auction stage and a percentage value of 16.5 percent of the project value for the direct appointment package.
