Battlefield 2042 Finally Gets Patch 4.0 Update Update In Game
JAKARTA - DICE and Electronic Arts provided an update regarding the launch of the Battlefield 2042 patch on Monday, April 18, which will bring an important feature that players have been waiting for.
Firstly, the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) feature is now available in Battlefield 2042. There are two voice chat channels to choose from: Party and Squad. Settings for VoIP can be adjusted via Options > Voice > In-game chat.
Next is the Scoreboard or scoreboard. The actual scoreboard was already in Update 3.3, however, following this update, this UI refresh will now also be available during the End of Loop screen.

Elsewhere, patch 4.0 will overhaul weapon attachments to make many of them more unique. It should be clearer to understand how switching to a different one will affect your weapon.
DICE lists many changes
n others in the patch notes, including progression tweaks, map changes, bug fixes, and modifications to some specialist abilities.
Going forward, the next patch is scheduled to arrive in May. DICE said it would fix more bugs and introduce other quality of life changes. The delayed first season of Battlefield 2042, meanwhile, is expected to kick off this summer.
