PAN Demands Legal Power Ade Armando Apologizes: Not To Go Wild
JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General of PAN's DPP Slamet Ariyadi said Ade Armando's attorney should apologize for sending a subpoena for the statement of PAN Secretary General Eddy Soeparno on his official Twitter account.
"We ask Ade Armando's attorney to apologize to PAN and Pak Eddy so that this problem does not go wild," said Slamet, Monday, April 18, quoted from Antara.
This he said was related to the steps taken by Ade Armando's attorney who summoned the Secretary General of PAN who is also a member of the PAN faction of the DPR RI Eddy Soeparno regarding his statement on his Twitter account.
He said that PAN was disappointed with Ade Armando's reactive attitude because he did not thank his party for defending Ade for the violence he experienced but instead sent a subpoena.
According to him, the summons personally disturbed Eddy Soeparno and the PAN cadres at large.
"In fact, Ade's attorney did not understand and read well and was not careful about Eddy Soeparno's tweet," he said.
According to him, Eddy Soeparno is a symbol of the party so that he as a PAN cadre will clarify that Eddy did not do anything wrong regarding the subpoena made by Ade Armando's attorney.
Slamet said PAN will make measured efforts and are currently reviewing it together, including a subpoena.
The member of the PAN faction of the DPR RI explained that if the subpoena has entered the realm of law, then PAN will take a firm and measured stance.
Previously, Eddy Soeparno through his Twitter account @eddy_soeparno on April 12, 2022 uploaded a statement related to AA.
"I support the investigation and legal action against perpetrators of violence against AA, but I also support firm legal action against those who insult religion and scholars, including AA"
Ade Armando's attorney, Muannas Alaidid sent a subpoena because he objected to Eddy's tweet on Twitter.
