Challenged By Denny Siregar's Scuffle, Bamukmin's Novel: No Need To Wear Boxing Gloves, No Need To Use Referee

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) of the Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 Novel Bamukmin responded to the challenge of a duel from social media activist Denny Siregar. Novel admits that he is ready to meet the challenge of a duel in the boxing ring.

"If he is serious, I am serious," Novel said in a short message to VOI, Friday, April 15.

The novel also offers duels to be carried out without using boxing gloves, without a referee, even without a time limit for the fight.

"It's okay to use a boxing ring, but free fights, no boxing gloves, no referees, no rounds," he said.

Initially, Denny Siregar challenged to a duel after seeing the news that Novel Bamukmin denied that the perpetrators of the beatings against Ade Armando were from the Kadrun group.

Ade Armando, who is also a social media activist like Denny, was the victim of a group beating during the BEM UI demonstration at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta on Monday 11 April.

Through his social media account, Denny did not accept Novel's rebuttal. He then challenges Novel to a duel in a boxing ring. Denny also admitted that he would facilitate the location of the fight.

"If it's the same with this one [showing the news followed by a photo of Novel Bamukmin], would you like a duel in the ring. I'll prepare the ring later. How about it? If you agree, please RT (retweet)," Denny wrote on his Twitter account, @Dennysiregar7.
