Seven Meat Stalls In Ambarawa Market Burned Out, Losses Reached Rp350 Million

SEMARANG - Seven stalls selling beef at Projo Ambarawa Market, Semarang Regency, Central Java, were burned to the ground on Thursday, April 14 in the early hours of the morning. Semarang Police Chief AKBP Yovan Fatika confirmed the incident that scorched the stall and its contents at the back of the market. According to him, The fire was first noticed at around 02.00 WIB by a security officer. "Security officers saw sparks from one of the meat grinding stalls for the first time," he said, quoted by Antara. The police and firefighters immediately came to the location after receiving the report. According to him, the initial suspicion was that the fire was triggered by an electric short circuit. "At 7 am the fire was extinguished," he said. as a result of the grinding machine and burned-out merchandise.
