The Happiness Of Ayyub And Rosidin, Koran Teachers In Kendal Who Received Home Renovation Assistance From Ganjar

KENDAL - Ayyub, a Koran teacher in Kendal Regency, cannot hide his happiness knowing that the house where he lives and teaches the Koran will be repaired by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo.

Governor Ganjar Pranowo together with Baznas Central Java distributed zakat, infaq, alms (ZIS) to two Koran teachers in Trompo Village, Kendal District. Assistance is given in the form of renovation of uninhabitable houses (RTLH) worth Rp. 20 million.

"There are two residents, both of whom are Koran teachers. So they devote themselves to teaching children how to recite the Koran. In my opinion, it is necessary to get attention," said Ganjar in a written statement, Wednesday, April 13.

Initially, the Central Java Provincial Government and Baznas communicated with the local government regarding residents who needed assistance. Then came the names of two teachers of the Koran, namely Ayyub (48) and Rosidin (53).

"So we communicate with the regions, how do the residents need to get help. And this belongs to the category of unfit houses, they need help," he added.

Ganjar said that the distribution of this aid was also a form of alms in the holy month of Ramadan. Ganjar said the Koran teacher deserved it.

"We are currently coming to Kendal and later we can improve it for the better because they also have good services for our children," he added.

In addition to distributing ZIS for home renovations, Ganjar also provided food packages. The basic necessities consist of oil, rice, sugar, and instant noodles.

Ayyub, one of the beneficiaries, thanked Ganjar. He prayed for Ganjar to be healthy and carry out his duties smoothly.

"Hopefully he will always be healthy, given health, and carry out his duties smoothly," said Ayyub.
