The TransJ Sepator In Front Of The DPR Which Was Damaged During The April 11 Demonstration Has Been Repaired

JAKARTA - The DKI Bina Marga Office immediately repaired the TransJakarta separator in front of the DPR/MPR/DPD RI buildings that were damaged by the demonstration during the demonstration on April 11 yesterday.

"We have repaired the separator along Jalan Gatot Subroto and at some points it has been repaired," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Price Development Agency, Hari Nugroho when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 12.

Repairs were carried out immediately on Monday night right after the demonstration in front of the Parliament Building was over. Repairs are carried out as soon as possible so that the separator can be used again as a barrier for the TransJakarta bus lane.

Not only that, Bina Marga will also repaint several sides of the front wall of the people's representative building which the masses drew on during the demonstration.

So far, his party has not received any reports of asphalt or pavement damaged as a result of the demonstration. However, his party still opens the opportunity for the public to report if there are findings of damaged public facilities after the riots yesterday.

"We are still receiving reports for us to follow up," he said, quoted from Antara.

The demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR/DPD RI building ended in chaos at night. Initially, the action led by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of several universities went well.

The BEM and the DPR leadership have also been brought together so that the aspirations of the masses have been well conveyed. However, towards night, the action became chaotic because several mass groups who were not from among the students carried out provocation actions.

The riots in front of the Indonesian Parliament building were immediately dispersed by the police when officers fired tear gas guns at the crowd.
