Boyolali Police Arrest Perpetrator Of 'Klitih' Street Crime

BOYOLALI - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Boyolali Police has again detained one perpetrator of a street crime or klitih, who stabbed an unknown person with a sharp weapon in Kacangan Village, Andong District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java.

"Thanks to the hard work of the officers, the case of violence at the scene of the Kacangan Village case, Andong District, Central Java, on Tuesday (29/3), at around 00.15 WIB, was complete. The two perpetrators were all arrested," said Boyolali Police Chief AKBP Asep Mauludin, as quoted by Antara. Between, Monday, April 11th.

RA acts as a pillion or jockey from one other perpetrator, AA (16) has also been arrested. RA committed violence by kicking the victim with the initials SMS, who was still a minor.

RA was arrested by the police in the Colomadu area, Karanganyar Regency, on Saturday (9/4), at around 01.00 WIB. The officers also confiscated one unit of a Honda Beat motorcycle with the number AD 3851 WFE.

"If you look at the modus operandi of the two perpetrators, this is a simple act, because it attacks and injures the victim randomly, even though there were no previous problems," continued Asep.

He explained the chronology of the klitih crime case against the SMS victim (16), a resident of Pranggon Village, Andong District, Boyolali.

At the time of the incident, SMS together with three friends in front of a shop in Kacangan Village, Andong District, Boyolali, on Tuesday (29/3), around 00.15 WIB. Not long after, a group of unknown people riding motorbikes together surrounded the victim and three of his friends.

After arriving in front of the Pitoelas restaurant, Hamlet Pelemrenteng Andong, the victim was suddenly grabbed by the perpetrator who immediately slashed the samurai at the victim six times. The victim tried to fend off with his hands until he was injured by the samurai's slash.

"Evidence of samurai sharp weapons, because the perpetrators dumped them into the river and until now they have not been found. Other evidence is the clothes worn by the victims have blood stains and the clothes worn by the perpetrators," he said.
